Medium: Ink, Marker, Colored Pencil

So, I found out that the long out-of-pring animated film "Chirin no suzu" (Dub title "Ringing Bell") was available on YouTube. Watching it after so long made me want to do a piece of fan art of it. It's a story of a cute little lamb named Chirin, whose mother is killed by a wolf. Chirin seeks out the wolf for revenge, and ends up being the wolf's apprentice so he can become strong enough to kill him. The design of the grown Chirin has always stuck in my mind and after watching the movie again, I just had to draw him. I originally planned to do this entirely monochromatic in just ink and markers, but I ended up adding a bit of accent color, and then some extra highlights/shading and detail in colored pencil. I'm fairly happy with it. It was partly just an excuse to play around with varying shades of gray
