Medium: Ink, Marker, White Colored Pencil

"The Spotted Sphinx" was just begging to be redrawn and colored. I really like the way the body came out, however, I really wish I'd gone with brighter colors in the wings. They were hard to see with a light background, and hard to see with a dark background. In a way, I think it kind of works, because you don't necessarily notice the wings right away, but notice them after noticing the golden, spotted body of the creature.

But color contrast is my thing, so the wings being so dark with the dark background bugs me :)
